A documentary project addresses.

Caceres, November 27 .- The coordinator of the Festival "Extreme Doc" Alberto Duran, and the historian Fernando Caceres Ayala have been screened in the first phase of the research project entitled "Migrants in Europe, a comparative study of emigration, immigration and returnees.

The project, sprung from two years ago, is funded by the Spanish General Directorate of Citizenship, Ministry of Labour, and has recently completed, gaia items, its first phase.

The phase I project was presented last night at the Hotel "Agora", which have turned the vice president of the Junta de Extremadura, Dolores Pallero, the Mayor, Carmen Heras, and the mayor of Social Affairs, Marcelina Elviro.

This is a 15-minute documentary shows, in which 10 interviews reflect Extremadura emigrants living in France, another 10 people who, buy gaia items, have returned to the region, and 10 interviews with immigrants who currently reside in areas that had to leaving citizens at the time of Extremadura.

For its part, Heras has praised the gestation of the project and reiterated the "importance of communicating the phenomenon of emigration and immigration to a vast audience."

The mayor also recalled the recent creation of the Immigrant Sector Council, which the council has put in place, through the Municipal Institute of Social Affairs, IMAS.

The documentary was screened at the Extrema Festival Doc, now hands out awards and honored at the headquarters of the Cinmathque Extremena filmmaker Basilio Martin Patino. 1011020
