To do this, we have organized, tera gold, a shuttle bus system for those who do not take your own vehicle. Thus, those who want to join this initiative parish may register in the sacristy of the parish of the Assumption, or directly through the following email: campamentolosglobos@gmail.com. Each hiker will come with their own food so that, later, the sharing of different foods and so achieve a more cordial lunch. The day will include games, songs and a pilgrimage.

Pastoral team organizers have said that "it would be very nice to be encouraged many people to participate in these events, as thousands of Torrelavega and Santander also many others, have gone over the years by the camp of 'The Globe' . therefore, considered that Sunday's "can be a beautiful day meeting."

About 40 years ago, a group of people from the parish of La Asuncion de Torrelavega, with their priests at their head, had the idea to take over a farm and, later, build on it with simple facilities in the town of Rocamundo in Valderredible.

The aim was to bring a camp for children of Torrelavega and its surroundings. With the limited means at the time and with great efforts, many families were rising at weekends to bite, make dough, tiling or exercise of cooks.

In these past 40 years, thousands of children, youth and adults today and Torrelavega, have gone through these simple installations called 'The Globe' by the shape of their buildings.
