The Assembly against the TAV-Cantabria held today a merger with the slogan 'If you train for that not to AVE'.
The newly created Assembly against the TAV-Cantabria held on Thursday, at 20.00, compared to the Central train station, a merger with the slogan "If the train AVE why not."
According to the platform, the proposed high speed train to Cantabria is an "economic waste, an environmental aggression and social precariousness no record" in the region, to "prevent applications meet the rest of, tera gold, the population claiming."
For the group, it is time to show publicly the social rejection of this project to ensure the alternative proposals for development and solidarity, to break the course social consensus, based on misinformation, which is advertised by the government, political parties and the official media and to inform the population about "the true costs of these infrastructures and development models."
